Chris Fitpatrick (NSW)

Chris Fitzpatrick was elected 2008 Deputy President of the Real Estate Institute of Australia. Chris Fitzpatrick is a real estate agent based in the regional New South Wales city of Wagga Wagga. He commenced his career as a stock and station agent in 1973. In 1975 he moved into the real estate firm of GJ Fitzpatrick & Co which he subsequently acquired with his brother in 1983. The business changed its name to Fitzpatricks Real Estate in 2000 and a new partnership was formed, with Chris as licencee in charge. Fitzpatricks Real Estate employs 25 people and practices in residential, commercial and industrial real estate project development, marketing and management.

Chris has had a significant involvement in the Real Estate Institute of NSW in a number of positions, including as President from 2000 to 2003.

Chris was also nominated to the positions of Joint Chairman of the REINSW & Law Society Joint Committee, was a Director of the Real Estate Institute of Australia from 2000 to 2002, and was appointed as REINSW representative to the NSW Property Services Advisory Council by the NSW Minister of Fair Trading in 2003.

Chris is a founding and current Director of Real Cover Insurances Limited which was initiated during his term as REINSW President.
