Noel Dyett (Vic)

Noel Dyett FREI FAPI CPA was elected REIA President for 2008. He served as REIA Deputy President in 2007. He has been the Victorian director of REIA since October 2005 following completion of his term as President of the Real Estate Institute of Victoria.

Noel commenced working in real estate in 1981 when he joined family members in Bendigo's oldest estate agency, Curnow Dyett, founded in 1892. He was appointed Managing Director in 1986. Prior to joining the family business he was employed as an accountant with the Australian Taxation Office.

Noel is a licensed estate agent, Certified Practising Valuer, experienced auctioneer and retains a CPA designation as a Certified Practising Accountant. He is a Fellow of the Real Estate Institute of Australia, Fellow of the Australian Property Institute (Certified Practising Valuer and Land Economist) and Associate of the Australian Society of CPA's.

As a member of the Real Estate Institute of Victoria, he has served on the Board of Directors for six years and on numerous committees including Chairman of the Members Council. He has served three terms as President and ten years as treasurer of the Bendigo Division of the REIV.

His real estate experience includes residential, commercial and industrial sales, leasing, management, valuations and commercial body corporate management.

Noel has served on a Victorian Government appointed public housing working party and advised and acted for local government and industry in strategic property sales and acquisition.
