Pamela Bennett (Qld)

Pamela Bennett is a licensed Real Estate Agent and industry trainer and has operated a real estate agency with her husband since 1975. Paul Bennett Real Estate Pty Ltd was one of the 20 founding agents of the Professionals Group. In 2007, Pamela Bennett established Coolaroo Properties Pty Ltd, a buyer/sellers agency.

Pamela is a Fellow of the Real Estate Institute of Qld and has been a member since 1978. She is a strong representative of the industry, particularly for the property management sector, having served on the Chapter since 1994 and as a continuous voice at the Queensland Residential Tenancy Authority for both the implementation and amendments of the Residential Tenancies Act. Pamela has held the positions of Chair and Deputy Chair of the Property Management Committee. She has been an industry representative at the Industry Development Forum of the Residential Tenancy Authority since 1994. She has been a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors since 2000.

Pamela was elected to the Board of the Real Estate Institute of Qld in 1999 and recently was re-elected for another term to December 2009. She was an alternative Director for REIQ on the REIA Board in 2001-02, and has been a member of the REIA Board since 2007.
