Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) The Commonwealth Government’s competition and fair trading watchdog. Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) The Australian Electoral Commission is responsible for providing Australians with an independent electoral service. The Electorate Search feature allows you to conduct searches based on current Federal electorate boundaries, and to find details about your Federal Member of Parliament. Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) The national regulator of financial services in Australia. Australian Taxation Office (ATO) ATO Assist provides taxation information for individuals, businesses and tax and superannuation professionals. Banking and Financial Services Ombudsman The Banking and Financial Services Ombudsman assists in resolving disputes with financial service providers. Business Entry Point provides 24 hour access to government information and transactions for new and existing businesses, including information on how to start and run a business, employing staff, taxation and other business topics.
